Return policy. We supply specialty tool products that are used mostly in
Dealerships, but from time to time (including myself) we like to fix our own
vehicle or help someone else fix theirs. There are specialty tools that
for an individual owner fixing their car - you may use that tool one time.
A Problem arises when those specific tools are ordered, used and then returned.
This causes a loss in profit on our part - the Manufacturer WILL NOT take back
used Tools unless they are defective & we loose. Damaged Package

Returns
You must contact us within "3" business days! (of date order was received/delivered)*Keep your
original box and any
packing, this will help avoid any delays. Generally, Products must be
returned (freight prepaid) within 30 days of date received for credit (shipping fees are non-refundable). **You must obtain an 'RGA'
Number (Return Authorization) before sending products back for credit. This
Number must accompany the product for proper credits to be applied without
delay. Your return will be refused without prior authorization for return! All products must be "unused",
new condition, unopened and sent back in it's original package, and
must be freight prepaid and insured for shipment. Software, computer software,
software updates, scanner updates or software/updates of any kind are NON
RETURNABLE. We are not able to re sell used or opened material
(software/updates), the manufacturer will reject returns unless it is defective.
If it is defective, please contact us. A 15% restocking is
subject to be charged to returns.
Special order items may not be
eligible for return and or subject to a 25% restocking charge. (*a list of
exclusions in regards to returns is available upon request) **Again,
you have three (3) days after your order is delivered to contact us for return
authorization. If items are opened, used or appear to be used and not a manufacturer defect, the item
will be returned to you with return shipping due. Again, we follow the
manufacturers guidelines for returns and defective items.
We are not in the business for
renting Tools and DO NOT sell used tools - this policy will be strictly
enforced! Please refer to
the individual manufacturer for specific warranty details.
DO NOT accept any package
that appears to have been tampered, opened or damaged. Keep your original UPS
shipment packaging for possible inspection from UPS. If this problem does occur, please
notify us at info@autotoolexpress.com

Warranty
Automotive Tool Express honors the Manufacturer
warranties & will abide by the said manufacturer requirements to have products
serviced for warranty. There are products distributed from Automotive Tool
Express that need to be sent for service directly to the manufacturer of said
products in order to avoid terminating the warranty. It is important that
you retain your receipt for proof of purchase for warranty service. You
will be responsible for shipping cost for warranty service (both directions).
As a general rule, warranty items should be fulfilled by the company you
purchased the item from.
